WWF Pedal for the Planet Cyclothon (Direct reach: 300 people, Indirect reach: 2Lakhs)

On 25th March Saturday, The "Happy Hyderabad" Cycling Group with the help of The Cycling Community Of Hyderabad conducted The Pedal for the Planet Cyclothon in Association with WWF to support the Biggest Hour of Earth. Jayesh Ranjan IAS the Principal Secretay of Industries & Commerce and Information Technology Departments of the Telangana government has flagged the Cyclothon and spoken about the Importance of Earth Hour, Active Mobility, and Hyderabad Cycling Revolution 3.0

 Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The event is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., usually on the last Saturday of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet. 

Corporate MNCs like EPAM and HSBC were also part of this Cyclothon. Bicycle Mayor of Hyderabad Santhana Selvan has briefed the group about the importance of Active Mobility and the Hyderabad Cycling Revolution 3.0.
